The Rookie is going international — at least to kick off season 8 — with the upcoming premiere taking place in Prague. Showrunner Alexi Hawley and star Nathan Fillion, who plays LAPD officer John Nolan, confirmed the overseas adventure during San Diego Comic-Con in July 2025.
