A much-loved North Carolina science teacher, who was murdered during a home invasion over the weekend, was actually on the phone with 911 dispatchers when her killer began his attack.
Police confirmed to Us Weekly in a statement on Sunday, January 4, that Zoe Welsh called 911 at approximately 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 3, after a man forced his way into her home.
As Welsh, whose age was not provided, was speaking to 911 operators, police claim Ryan Camacho allegedly started attacking her. Police have audio of the brutal incident from the call Welsh made.
