A much-loved North Carolina science teacher, who was murdered during a home invasion over the weekend, was actually on the phone with 911 dispatchers when her killer began his attack. Police confirmed to Us Weekly in a statement on Sunday, January 4, that Zoe Welsh called 911 at approximately 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 3, after a man forced his way into her home.
