Travis Kelce’s new contract came with a surprising wrinkle as he prepares to continue his reign over Chiefs Kingdom.
Kelce, 36, signed a three-year, $54.735 million contract with the Kansas City Chiefs, NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport reported on Monday, March 23.
The first year of Kelce’s new contract is worth $12 million, plus an extra $3 million incentives.
In May, ESPN reported that Kelce was likely to return to the Chiefs on a one-year deal.
