The 2026 Met Gala dress code has been announced.
Vogue revealed that the annual event, which takes place on the first Monday of May, will have a “Fashion is Art” dress code.
In the announcement via social media on Monday, February 23, the publication shared that “the directive perfectly reflects the ethos of ‘Costume Art,’ which explores the ‘centrality of the dressed body’ through depictions and interpretations of the human form in the Met’s extensive collection.”
