Mother Killed Daughter, 21, With Autism in Suspected Murder-Suicide Attempt

A mother in Rhode Island was arrested after she allegedly killed her 21-year-old autistic daughter in a suspected murder-suicide attempt. Anna Maria Angelosanto has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of her daughter, Alexandra Straccia, according to WPRI. The Cranston Police Department learned of the crime when officers reported to a first-floor apartment in Cranston, Rhode Island, on the morning of July 27. Upon their arrival, officers allegedly found Angelosanto, 62, with seemingly self-inflicted wounds. Meanwhile, Straccia was found dead in a separate bed...
