University of Michigan men’s basketball coach Dusty May has built a family around the game he loves.
He met his wife, Anna May, in elementary school, and the two now have three sons who are all involved in basketball to some degree.
As their son, Charlie May, told Hour Detroit in 2025, “Most of our lives revolve around basketball. Holidays like Thanksgiving, we’re traveling to where games are. Christmas, we have maybe three days off.”
