England soccer player Jordan Henderson has been hospitalized after suffering an injury while celebrating the country’s historic World Cup win over Mexico.
After the Sunday, July 5, match in Mexico City, Henderson, 36, and the players went over to their fans behind a goal to sing “Wonderwall.” (The Oasis track has become England’s unofficial anthem during the iconic tournament.)
While celebrating, Henderson fell over an advertising board and remained down on the field. England captain Harry Kane saw what happened and motioned for first responders to assist.
