A California-based nanny has been arrested after she allegedly abused an infant in her care.
Authorities were notified about a suspected child abuse case reported at a Los Angeles hospital on April 7. An investigation was launched into the matter and authorities learned that the infant, who was admitted to the hospital, had been physically abused.
The infant’s nanny, Carolina Cobian, was arrested on April 15 on felony child abuse charges by the Santa Monica Police Department. She was later released on bail, according to KTLA.
