An Alabama woman has been arrested after authorities said she neglected her two teenage sons with autism, with one accidentally strangling himself to death with a blanket when the boys were left home alone.
Amanda Morgan was arrested on Tuesday, March 17, following an investigation into the death of her 14-year-old son, according to WALA.
On October 8, 2025, officers from the Mobile Police Department responded to Morgan’s home and found her 14-year-old son dead. As officers looked through the home, they allegedly observed signs of neglect.
