Solo flyers on some U.S. flights can pay much more than those traveling as a pair, report finds
A one-way flight with American Airlines from Charlotte, N.C., to Fort Myers, Fla., in October was listed as $422 for one passenger traveling solo, but dropped to around $266 per person when two passengers were traveling together.
