The parents of Aidan Zingg, a motocross athlete who died in June 2025 at age 16, have filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the organizations involved in their son’s fatal race, alleging his death was preventable.
Robert and Shari Zingg claim the collision happened as a result of careless race operations and defective safety equipment, according to court documents obtained by Us Weekly on Friday, January 2.
2XP LLC, Alterra Mountain Company, the American Motorcyclist Association, Mammoth Mountain Ski Area and Revelyst Adventure Sports are all listed as defendants.
