A jury this week found a New York man guilty of murder after prosecutors said he tortured his longtime friend to death by beating him, suffocating him with a plastic bag and slowly stabbing him in the neck over the span of six hours.
Jeremy Allen, 44, of East Quogue, near the Hamptons on Long Island, watched Christopher Hahn, 43, as he died from the hours-long torture, then tried to involve his handyman in cleaning his blood-stained home on September 27, 2024, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office.
