A mother in Iowa is being held on $1 million bond after turning herself in to police in connection with the death of her 3-year-old son.
Back in June, Tiffani R. Huff-Holmes, 41, allegedly awoke from a nap and discovered her small child unresponsive and sitting in a lawn chair in the closed garage. He was “hot to the touch,” his lips were blue, and he was “extremely sweaty,” according to an application for a search warrant reported by the Des Moines Register. After finding him, Holmes reportedly waited between five and 10 minutes before calling 911.
