Florida woman allegedly stabs her elderly mother to death during fight

BAREFOOT BAY, Fla. (TCD) -- A 49-year-old woman is in custody after allegedly fatally stabbing her 69-year-old mother this week. On Tuesday, Jan. 9, shortly after 5 a.m., deputies with the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office responded to a home in reference to an injured woman. Inside, authorities found Cheryl Meurer suffering from multiple stab wounds, and she was pronounced dead at the scene. According to the sheriff’s office, based on collected evidence and interviews, investigators believe the victim and her daughter, Kelly Tinsley, got into a physical altercation on the night
