Montreal Canadiens head coach Martin St. Louis spoke out after his son Ryan was on campus during the deadly shooting at Brown University on Saturday, December 13.
“He was sheltering during last night’s game,” Martin, 50, told reporters on Sunday, December 14, after Montreal’s 4-1 win over the Edmonton Oilers. “It’s a tragedy. It hits home. I want to send my thoughts and prayers to everybody involved — the students, their families, that community. Stuff like that shouldn’t happen.”
