Alabama A&M band ‘excited’ to represent state in Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

Behind the red “Alabama” banner at the front of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, viewers will see a maroon and white banner touting the “Alabama A&M University  Marching Maroon and White Showband of the South” when the long-storied parade steps off Thursday morning. The Bulldogs are the first Historically Black College and University to be the lead band in the world famous parade.
