Less than a month before his tragic death, former Syracuse University quarterback Rex Culpepper was celebrating a major milestone.
Culpepper recently got engaged to his fiancée, Savanna Morgan, which he shared via social media on February 21.
“Soooo….what are we???” Culpepper and Morgan wrote in a joint Instagram post alongside a carousel of photos from the proposal, which happened in Highlands, North Carolina.
Culpepper died on Saturday, March 14, after sustaining injuries in a dirt bike accident, according to the Tampa Bay Times. He was 28 years old.
