Randolph Mantooth Dead at 80: 'Emergency!' Star Dies After Long Illness 

Randolph Mantooth, best known for playing firefighter-paramedic Johnny Gage on the hit 1970s NBC series Emergency!, has died. He was 80. Mantooth died on Thursday, July 9, at a hospice facility in Ventura, California, his brother Donald Mantooth, confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter.
