Police fatally shot a Washington man in order to stop him from a stabbing spree that left his mother and three other women dead. The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office announced that Aleksandr Aleksandro Shablykin was shot dead by a responding deputy. The victims have been identified as the suspect’s mother, 52-year-old Zoya Anatolyevna Shabliykina, and Joanne Kathleen Brandani, 59, Stephanie Killilea, 67, and Louise Sandra Talley, 81, who all lived nearby.
