June 12 Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Jacob Misiorowski set the record for the fastest pitch thrown by an MLB starting pitcher on Friday. In the top of the first inning of the Brewers' game against the Phillies, Misiorowski burned a pitch at 105 miles per hour to strike out Kyle Schwarber.
