Majority of Americans reject Trump’s renaming of Lake Ontario to Lake America, poll finds

A new poll has found that a majority of Americans oppose President Donald Trump’s decisions to rename Lake Ontario to Lake America and impose higher tariffs on Canadian goods.In the 3-day Reuters/Ipsos poll that ended Sunday, 63% said they opposed renaming Lake Ontario to Lake America, compared to 14% in favor.
