Former Rutgers University football captain Jamil Merrell has died, according to his twin brother, Jamal Merrell. He was 36. “With tears in our eyes and love in our hearts, I want everyone to know that my twin brother, Jamil, is peacefully transitioning to be with God,” Jamal, 36, wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, July 7.
