A dad in Las Vegas was killed by police earlier this month after he cradled his 3-year-old son in his arms before shooting the boy in the head during a fight with the child’s mother. Raneka Pate called 911 around 1:18 a.m. on February 3 to report that Quinton Baker was holding her and their son, Kentre Baker, hostage. “He’s not in his right mind,” Pate said in a 911 call obtained by the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
