Whole Foods announced Wednesday that it is recalling certain produce and prepared foods containing fresh jalapeño peppers supplied by Coast Citrus Distributors over potential salmonella contamination.The Food and Drug Administration said the recalled products were sold in 12 states and have "Best Before" dates ranging from Aug. 7 through Aug. 16.No illnesses have been reported in connection with the recalled Whole Foods products, according to the FDA.The recall includes select salsas, guacamole, pico de gallo and prepared foods, Whole Foods said.
