Alabama’s future healthcare high school receives $26.4M boost from Bloomberg

Bloomberg Philanthropies pledged a major investment toward the prospect of a statewide healthcare sciences high school, contingent on approval of the school by the Alabama Legislature. The donation of $26.4 million was announced Wednesday in Demopolis by a joint partnership of the Alabama School of Healthcare Sciences Foundation, the Alabama Department of Education, and Whitfield Regional Hospital in Demopolis.
