A Los Angeles judge has denied Cher‘s request for her son Elijah Blue Allman to be placed under a temporary conservatorship.
During a court hearing on Friday, April 24, the court rejected the pop star’s bid to appoint a conservator of Allman’s estate, citing a lack of “sufficient urgency” despite the singer’s concerns that he is “gravely disabled” due to mental health and substance abuse struggles, People reported.
The case was dismissed without prejudice, meaning Cher, 79, can file again at a later date.
