WATCH: Randy Owen leads JSU Band after Bowl Game victory

Randy Owen, best known for being the lead singer of the band ‘Alabama’ whose hit song Dixieland Delight has become a mainstay of Alabama Crimson Tide culture over the years, lead the Jacksonville State University marching band after the team’s New Orleans Bowl victory yesterday: While Owen’s best known work might be the soundtrack of the Crimson Tide, he’s a proud alum of Jacksonville State, where he earned a degree in English. Owen also serves on the JSU Board of Trustees and currently resides in the Fort Payne area. The JSU Gamecocks had an epic 34-31 victory in yesterday’s New Orleans Bowl
