Virginia woman captured after allegedly killing 3 roommates and fleeing the state

Update (6/7/2024) -- The Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office announced the arrest of 23-year-old Alyssa Venable on the night of June 6. According to deputies, at around 5:45 p.m., New York State Police troopers observed the suspect's vehicle in Steuben County, New York, and a pursuit ensued. Venable reportedly crashed after authorities deployed a tire deflation device. Venable was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital via ambulance for minor injuries. She will be extradited back to Virginia, where she faces three counts of second-degree murder and use of a firearm during the
