In unfortunate news for the state of Alabama, a study identifies it as the No. 1 state in the country for losses from cyber crime.
It is estimated that over the past year those who have been scammed in the state have lost on average as much as $50,670 per victim. In comparison, the average amount of loss experienced per victim in the entire U.S was $18,300 per victim.
