State Senator Steve Livingston (R-Scottsboro), Majority Leader of the Alabama Senate, announced Senator Clyde Chambliss’s (R-Prattville) reappointment as Majority Whip of the Alabama Senate.
According to an official release, Sen. Livingston sent a letter formalizing the announcement of Senator Chambliss’s reappointment as Majority Whip after Senators convened in Birmingham for an organizational session to establish Senate leadership and committee assignments earlier this month.
Livingston was elected as Majority Leader by the Caucus in October, succeeding Senator Clay Scofield (R-Guntersville)
