Rep. Palmer issues no vote on Continuing Resolution

U.S. Rep. Gary Palmer joined a group of fellow Republican legislators in issuing a no vote Thursday on a continuous resolution proposed by House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) According to The Washington Post, Johnson and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) had originally reached a $1.66 trillion agreement to finance the government for the 2024 fiscal year. Congress, however, has run out of time to pass that particular proposal before federal funding expires on Saturday.
