Poarch Band of Creek Indians invests $50M+ to expand OWA with luxury resort hotel

A massive addition to the OWA Parks & Resort destination is set to open in May of 2025. The Poarch Band of Creek Indians announced this week that a resort style hotel with a price tag of over $50 million is now in the works. “We are very excited to add this tropical inspired resort hotel to our portfolio,” said Cody Williamson, President/CEO of Creek Indian Enterprises Development Authority. “This new hotel will give guests another option to relax in Coastal Alabama, while still enjoying all the fun amenities that OWA has to offer.
