Alabama’s season came to an end on Sunday night in Pasadena at the hands of the Michigan Wolverines, who will compete against Washington next Monday night for their first national title since 1997, and Washington’s first since 1991.
Following the Texas and South Florida games, there was widespread skepticism over Alabama’s chance to run the tables, claim the SEC championship, and secure a spot in the College Football Playoff.
That sentiment wasn’t lost on head coach Nick Saban. He described it as, “one of the most amazing seasons in Alabama Football history…”
