Former Nebraska football quarterback Chubba Purdy is entering the transfer portal on Wednesday evening. This was confirmed by Chubba Purdy’s father Shawn , to Evan Bland of the Omaha World-Herald. The quarterback will enter the portal as a graduate transfer. Purdy was brought into the program in December 2021 after transferring from Florida State. Former Huskers offensive coordinator Mark Whipple was his primary recruiter. Purdy made more of an impact this past season.
