Nebraska football is still looking to shore up the linebacker position with a new transfer portal offer.
Coming into the offseason, the needs for Nebraska football in the transfer portal seemed pretty clear: quarterback, wide receiver, running back, linebacker, and secondary.
The need for a quarterback went away with the signing of Dylan Raiola. I know a veteran from the transfer portal would be nice, following the departure of Chubba Purdy, but finding a veteran, willing to take a walk-on deal to be a backup to a five-star freshman is easier said than done.
There could be some options though.
