Maryland QB Tagovailoa to opt out of bowl game against Auburn

There’s a new twist to the Music City Bowl between Auburn and Maryland. Terrapins starting quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa, the brother of Alabama legend Tua Tagovailoa, has decided to opt out of the game in order to begin preparation for the NFL Draft. “We certainly thank Taulia and his family for all he’s given this program over the last four years. Like all positions, it’s next man up,” Maryland head coach Mike Locksley stated on Tagovailoa’s decision not to play in the game.
