Las Vegas woman allegedly killed carpet cleaner in 'random shooting' while he was working

LAS VEGAS (TCD) -- A woman who previously served prison time for arson and was out on parole allegedly killed a man in a random shooting while he was working this week. On March 26, shortly after 4 p.m., officers with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department were called to an apartment complex in the 3600 block of South Fort Apache Road in reference to a possible shooting. Police found a male, identified by KLAS-TV as 41-year-old Raul Cardoza, near a van with an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to a hospital and later pronounced dead.
