Ivey recognizes Clean Energy Week in Alabama

For the seventh annual National Clean Energy Week, Gov. Kay Ivey declared the week just that in Alabama.  Ivey signed a proclamation recognizing that “clean and readily abundant forms of energy are powering more homes and businesses than ever before.” In Alabama, the clean energy sector employs more 44,000 people, which provides the third-largest generation of hydroelectric power to the Rocky Mountain region and the fourth-largest generation of nuclear power across the nation.  The Energy Institute of Alabama (EIA) today welcomed the recognition for the industry from Governor Ivey. “We appreci
