Is Grant Nelson Alabama’s next superstar?

When Nate Oats brought in Grant Nelson from North Dakota State via the transfer portal, Nelson immediately became the prized piece of a portal class and a key cog in what was going to be an almost entirely new roster (and coaching staff) for the Alabama basketball program. And Nelson did not disappoint in Alabama’s opening game, a 105-73 win over Morehead State. He racked up 24 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 blocks, going 7/12 from the field, 2/4 from the three-point line, and 8/8 from the free-throw line.
