HILO, Hawaii (TCD) -- A 41-year-old woman was hospitalized last week after she reportedly gave birth on a sidewalk and dragged the child, who was still attached to the umbilical cord.
On Tuesday, Jan. 16, at 5:15 p.m., Hawaii Police Department officers and personnel from the Hawaii Fire Department were called to downtown Hilo after learning about a homeless woman who had "given birth to a baby on the sidewalk and was reportedly then dragging the newborn."
