Gilberry endorses Brewbaker after withdrawing from congressional race

Former Alabama Crimson tide player, NFL star, and now, former candidate for U.S. Congress, Wallace Gilberry, has endorsed former State Senator Dick Brewbaker in the 2024 GOP primary for Alabama’s 2nd Congressional District. Gilberry, in his statement of support, called Brewbaker the “clear choice” to represent the second district. “Dick Brewbaker is a man of his word – he told the people of his senate district he was only to serve two terms – and then actually did it!” Gilberry said in a statement.
