The Red Mountain Cut foundation is hosting a “Friends of the Cut” litter clean-up event in conjunction with ALPALS (Alabama People Against a Littered State) and ALDOT’s (Alabama Department of Transportation) Adopt-A-Mile program this Saturday, December 9th from 8:30am-11:00am.
Together, the organizations have adopted miles 272-274 on Highway 280, running from the interchange of 280 & 31 near Homewood to St. Vincent’s Hospital. The initial meet-up at 8:30 a.m. will take place at Little Hardware English Village, located at 2101 Cahaba Road in Mountain Brook.
