Colorado man sentenced for fatally stabbing his mother 54 times

EATON, Colo. (TCD) -- A 34-year-old man will spend over five decades behind bars for fatally stabbing his mother inside her home in 2021. The Weld County District Attorney’s Office announced that a judge sentenced Gabriel Faudoa on Thursday, Jan. 18, to 48 years for the second-degree murder of his mother, June Faudoa. He was also given three years for aggravated motor vehicle theft to be served consecutively. A jury convicted him of the charges in November 2023.
