Chickasaw police chief suspended, apologizes for social media ‘behavior’

One South Alabama town has its third police department leader reprimanded within the past two years. WALA reports that Chickasaw Mayor Barry Broadhead has suspended interim Police Chief Tommie McDuffie over inappropriate social media postings. McDuffie has issued a public apology and will be suspended for three days. “This isn’t the first time controversy has centered around the city’s police chief.
