Casey McWhorter executed, 30 years after conviction

Casey A. McWhorter was executed Thursday for the murder and robbery of Edward Lee Williams in Marshall County in 1993. “Casey McWhorter was put to death for the brutal murder and robbery of Edward Lee Williams of Marshall County,” Attorney General Steve Marshall said. “Justice is the value we place on the life that was wronged.
