Calif. man allegedly fatally shot his 75-year-old roommate and injured his girlfriend during argument

RIVERSIDE, Calif. (TCD) -- A 27-year-old man is in custody after allegedly killing his elderly roommate and shooting and injuring his girlfriend while she was visiting. On Sunday, March 31, shortly after 12 p.m., officers with the Riverside Police Department responded to a home in the 7600 block of Canberra Way in reference to a possible shooting. Police quickly apprehended the suspect, Christopher Lennox, after he was pointed out to officers. Law enforcement entered the home and found 75-year-old Robert Mageno suffering from gunshot wounds.
