A hearing of the House Armed Services Committee gave three Alabama lawmakers the opportunity to get some answers about the decision to base the headquarters of U.S. Space Command in Colorado over Alabama.
They say that move was blatantly political and possibly unlawful.
U.S. Space Command Gen.James Dickinson, Chief of Space Operations Gen. Chance Saltzman, and Air Force Secretary Frank Kendall had to hear them out, as the hearing was on the subject of “examining irregularity in the strategic basing process for U.S. Space Command.”
