Alabama A&M’s marching band to lead Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

When the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade steps off next week, the Alabama A&M Marching Maroon and White will be front and center. Literally. The AAMU marching band has been selected as the lead band in this year’s parade. And Band Director Dr. Carlton Wright said the MM&W will be in peak form for the opportunity to represent the university on such a large stage. “We’re already preparing to put on a memorable and iconic show,” he said. “This opportunity is a huge notch for our program’s storied history.
