75-year-old N.J. woman charged in beating and stabbing death of 81-year-old boyfriend

MAYS LANDING, N.J. (TCD) -- A 75-year-old woman is in custody after allegedly fatally beating and stabbing her 81-year-old boyfriend in their home over the weekend. According to a news release from the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office, on Sunday, March 31, at approximately 5:39 p.m., officers with the Hamilton Township Police Department responded to a residence at 13 Lewis Drive, where they found Gary Johnson deceased from multiple wounds to his head and body. The South Regional Medical Examiner's Office determined Johnson died of blunt force trauma and stab wounds.
