DiJonai Carrington claims WNBA beat reporter Christine Brennan is lying about a heated confrontation regarding her girlfriend, NaLyssa Smith. She even went so far as to threaten potential legal action for defamation of character. Although I do not know for sure, I cannot imagine that three different reporters would completely fabricate an interaction that did not happen. This latest WNBA drama once again stems from the league’s biggest star, Caitlin Clark. The eventual Rookie of the Year got poked in the eye during a playoff game last September. Carrington was the one who poked her.
